SEMCO has developed and patented a new packaging innovation: the SEMPACK multilayer stand-up pouch. Based on the original idea of SEMCO CEO Wenael Regnier, the SEMPACK is a mix between bottle, tube and pouch - an innovative twist on a classic professional tool: the pastry bag.
Suitable for the application of pastes, powders and liquids, this product will find its place in the food, cosmetic and home-care sections of supermarkets, as well as among the kits of professionals.
With its extraordinary first-touch feeling, users will have the sensation of being truly in touch with the product.
The pouch gathers the best assets of current packaging with an eco-friendly approach. It is 77% lighter than bottles and 73% lighter than tubes, and has an optimised restitution rate (96%). The second life of the packaging has also been considered, as the SEMPACK is ultra-compressive (83% reduction when empty).
Its light weight has also lead to a significant reduction in the amount of CO2 being consumed during transportation, reducing its impact on global warming.
The SEMPACK is also easily personalised, coming in a wide variety of sizes, including 200, 300 and 600ml, which will be extended from 100 to 1,000ml in the future. Printing can also be realised, even for small series (from 5000 units) in digital, or helio for larger ones. There are also a variety of spouts to choose from and a wide range of film combinations, depending on the product protection needed.
From production to distribution, the SEMPACK is a true eco-responsible packaging alternative.
