RPC Bramlage Division is a leading supplier of innovative packaging for the cosmetic and personal care market. The company's extensive range includes jars, dispensers, sticks, bottles and closures, along with bespoke solutions to meet specific product or branding requirements. Innovative design and technical expertise combine to deliver attractive packs that are easy-to-use, ergonomic and intuitive, precise to dose and eco-friendly.
The new Lotus lotion pump utilises 30 years' experience in dispensing, and in-depth knowledge of market requirements, to create a standard pump with a customisable outer body, including a choice of surface finishes and decoration effects. This enables manufacturers to combine excellent functionality and user-friendly operation with a personalised on-shelf appearance for effective brand identity.
The Lotus lotion pump can dispense an accurate 1.5ml dose of product with minimal effort for the end-user. RPC Bramlage's expertise in handling many different types of formulae means the company can work with individual customers to ensure full compatibility with each product.
RPC Bramlage Division is a market leader in airless dispensers, which include the advanced Magic Star, Twist-Up and XL5 pump and Airfree bottle. All combine the convenience of a precise dose with effective protection of sensitive ingredients, with XL5 dispensing a 5ml dose from the new 750ml and 1L Vinci Airfree bottle with each actuation.
The Magic Star features a modular construction with separate body and dispensing head that ensures fast and easy filling. The unique design of the Twist-Up reveals the dispensing head by turning the upper part of the container for controlled dosing and hygienic application of creams and lotions. As the design ensures the dispenser is particularly secure in its locked 'down' position it is ideal for the growing e-commerce market for cosmetics. The XL5 has been designed for a variety of professional applications such as spa and hair care, and is equally suitable for larger family size or promotional packs.
For the effective handling of viscous creams and gels, the latest Ecosolution™ high viscosity pump is able to achieve a 97% restitution rate for even the thickest formulae. It can be used in conjunction with the Vega AirFree® bottle that features an inner pouch with an EVOH layer to prevent oxygen ingress for extended protection. This makes it suitable for products containing natural ingredients and without preservatives.
RPC Bramlage Division's extensive range of cosmetic and cream jars is suitable for a wide variety of products. The Empress range features a double layer construction to maximise a product's quality positioning and brand image.
A new addition is the Coral jar with an innovative design that incorporates a raised section at the base to provide an alternative to the traditional cylindrical shape.
The award-winning Slidissime® jar offers consumers a new tactile opening sensation, dispensing a tailored dose of up to 0.5ml of cream while providing effective airless protection of formulations.
The emphasis that RPC Bramlage Division places on sustainable packaging solutions has been underlined by two accreditations. The company holds an Ecocert certification for its standard AirFree® packs, and a COTREP (Technical Committee for Plastic Packaging Recycling) certification, which confirm the recyclability of its packaging.
Both Ecosolution pump and AirFree® bottle are made entirely from plastic and are 100% recyclable. The external layer of the AirFree® bottle can be manufactured in recycled PE, while the internal pouch layer in contact with the formula uses virgin PE. The pouch can contain EVOH, which is a barrier to oxygen that also blocks odour migration and guarantees the integrity of the formula.
Another innovation is the recently launched standard lip care stick. The three piece design is manufactured completely in polypropylene thus greatly easing its ability to be recycled. PP also has a lower carbon footprint than POM which is often used for these types of products. Overall, the new stick has achieved a RecyClass B rating for is environmental profile, whereas most traditional sticks have an E or F rating.
Latest introductions include a 19mm tube closure from RPC Zeller Plastik Zell that is the first standard push-on flip-top hinge tube closure (HTC) of such a small size.
A 25mm size has also been added to the screw-on Classic HTC range. It joins existing 50mm, 45mm, 35mm and 30mm sizes, enabling brands to create family ranges using a single closure design.
A wide choice of materials and decoration techniques also allow RPC Bramlage Division to create bespoke closure designs for perfume bottles, conveying the premium image of the product while offering convenience and ease of use for the consumer.
