The core of SCA's business is the forest, 2.6 million hectares of forest land in northern Sweden, Europe's largest private forest holding. Around this unique resource, SCA have built a well-developed value chain based on renewable raw material from our own and others' forests.

SCA is a leading producer of kraftliner, being the third largest in Europe and the largest independent supplier. In the mills Munksund in Piteå and Obbola in Umeå, SCA produces 465,000 tonnes of kraftliner per annum.
The product portfolio includes a range of specialty products. Such as kraftliner with white printable surface (white-top) and wet strength kraftliner. The slow growing wood raw material from northern Sweden provides strength and is well suited for material-efficient packaging of high quality.
