On 12–14 March 2019, the converting industry will gather for the 11th edition of ICE Europe, the world’s leading exhibition for paper, film and foil converting, at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Munich, Germany.
As a specialised trade fair, the exhibition profile of ICE Europe includes all main areas and manufacturing processes of the converting of flexible, web-based materials, such as paper, film, foil and non-wovens. The exhibition covers materials, coating and laminating, drying and curing, accessories, slitting and rewinding, flexographic and rotogravure printing, finishing, factory management, waste removal and recycling, retrofitting and machine upgrades, control, test and measurement, production process management, communication and finished products.
The new Special Film & Extrusion Area comprises of special films – battery films, biopolymeric films, high-barrier films, optical films, weatherable films and others, as well as the area of extrusion – extrusion lines for blown films and extrusion lines for flat films and sheets, welding machines and calendars.In addition to ICE, visitors will be able to access the co-located CCE International 2019 show, Europe’s only trade fair solely focusing on manufacturing and converting corrugated and cartonboard.
ICE Europe 2019 will take place in halls A5 and A6 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre, Germany. The fourth edition of CCE International is once again co-located with ICE Europe, and will be held in hall B6. Both shows will be open on Tuesday, 12 March 2019, and Wednesday, 13 March 2019, from 9.00am to 5.00pm, as well as on Thursday, 14 March 2019, from 9.00am to 4.00pm. A total of 455 exhibitors from 25 different countries have booked their stand space at ICE Europe 2019, and occupy 11,500m² of net floor space. This means that the booked net floor space has grown by 4% when compared with the total floor space at ICE Europe 2017.
The number of exhibitors has increased by 6% compared with the previous show. A great majority of the exhibitors at ICE Europe 2019 come from Germany, Italy, the UK, Switzerland and the US, with 55% being German companies. Some of the biggest names in the industry will be attending ICE Europe 2019; the following is just a small selection of the over 400 exhibitors expected.
