Aspall bottled by Beatson Clark

1 August 2014

Cider drinkers will enjoy Aspall's from shorter bottles in future. The apple-based beverage specialist has called time on its long-necked design after nearly a century, deeming it too tall for fridges in bars and pubs.
Beatson Clark' lightweight, 500ml Vichy bottle, which has a crown neck, will be the new receptacle for Aspall's existing Draught Cyder, Premier Cru, Harry Sparrow and Perronelle's Blush brews, as well as two new additions to its range: the low-alcohol Clement's Four redcurrant and raspberry-flavoured Isabel's Berry.
"The Vichy bottle has been a great success and enabled us to significantly increase the volume of packaged Aspall cider going into the on trade," said Damian Mills, head of operations at Aspall.
Beatson Clark's Marketing Manager, Charlotte Taylor, said: "We're very pleased to have helped Aspall to come up with a stylish solution for repackaging their ciders."
